This 2010 image surprised me. It popped up as I was looking for a beautiful image to send a friend.
In 2024 this image reminds me personally that’s why I share with you today.
Once our journey goals may have been purely physical but, now much older, I know old challenges still apply.
My life must NOW be One Day, One Step at a time……..But knowing the certainty of destination, Who is with me to Guide me and that I walk IN THE WAY ever upward journeying.is my joy and my song.

May our Father God WHO loves us as HIS children Bless in this day the memories of all mothers, past, present and future and also ALL who nurture and encourage young and innocent hearts and minds.
In this day may we ALL reflect and determine to sow seeds of beauty and Hope.
Thank GOD too for the humble maid who obeyed God and carried in her womb the precious Saviour destined to change FOREVER millions of souls who follow HIM into eternity.

When the Wife’s expression showed (to nearby wedding observers) her uncertainty at promising to love and OBEY her husband, it led to a rich discussion later. on wedding vows and promises.
Obeying a husband should always be governed by a powerful LOVE in this union. If a husband loves God and his wife as God loves him, he would never ask his wife to make a decision affecting her ‘outside of the Will and Word of God’.
“let’s pray about it’ was David’s answer when I was fiercely opposed to his desire to buy the property here in Wolvi. I felt furiously confident it was too remote for the welfare of our children.
We prayed. God answered.
His answer to me was directly contrary to my personal desires. I dreamt about the possibilities and woke up frightened that someone else had bought it first. ’Buy it’ He said. ‘ It is My Will. ‘
41 years later our life here has been fulfilling and blessed of God in many, many
ways.
DROP IT1
Our little terrier is learning about love and obedience also. I am praising God that this week as she ran ahead protectively guarding my way she obeyed instantly when I screamed from the distance ‘Drop it!’ as she grabbed the tail of a passing reptile and I realized it was a snake. Its head came up to strike but she obeyed, dropped it and into the bush it slithered.
I hurried to catch up so she wouldn’t try to track it.
We then reassured each other with a cuddle that LOVE is the reason why we guard and care.
God’s desire in a matrimonial bonding is exactly the same.
Love and Obey out of Love for our Saviour and His Divine LOVE will work out His Best for us.

I know in me there needs to be a lot of transformation before that day arrives. I know today I could neither dance nor stand too long without wobbling. But I am learning how significant it is NOW to be STILL in His Presence.
The Bible tells us 1 COR. 15; 51-54
v.52 In a moment. In the twinkling of an eye at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound. The dead will be raised incorruptible, and we who remain shall be changed. That’s why after the Cross and His shed blood to cover all believers.
God the Holy Spirit -the Sanctifier – ever works so we can face HIM in His full Glory.
It is an ongoing work. We focus on Christ, His Word. We live an abundant life but surrendered to be ever changed. Confession, repentance a part of the full journey.
IMAGINATION and His use of the natural world helps bring extra beauty into our world.
I saw a golden spiral dancing in the wind.
This is an image of what I thought was real.
When I went out later during a hot fully sunny morning. I went to take a photo.
It was a large dead leaf hanging from a spider’s web. It had been briefly beautified by sunlight and raindrops.
This leaf blew away and is GONE. It’s beauty remains only in my imagination.
No so for a Child of the Living God His Love will work on us LIFE LONG if we lead surrendered and consecrated to Him lives.
Praise Him we will be fully changed and able to dance, worship, stand or fall on our faces.
I can only imagine what I Will choose to do. Thank You, AWESOME GOD as we remember Your Sacrifice that makes it all possible, on this Lord’s Day May 5th 2024.
With constant late Autumn rain showers and other exterior life issues the morning reminder was a particular blessing. May its TRUTH inspire you also. Shared with love.
Christ alone knows HIS WILL for our abundant life.
Let us ride on! Ever proclaiming His Presence and surrendering the journey to His Spirit’s sanctifying leading.

my writing life, I saw clearly that my life was influenced by all the connections, contacts and consequences of people who cared for me and guided me towards right choices. My book REFLECTIONS OF LIFE and my first story BEYOND

The past and the present connected.
Today. I offer up a prayer of THANKSGIVING TO MY SAVIOUR and for the
lives of all who from youth to my present age have connected and cared
enough to guide me.
DIVINE LOVE, the lasting aspect of WHO GOD is, is where my gratitude is most centred. Those who connected and encouraged me to
have a PERSONAL relationship with Christ the SAVIOUR and include Him in ALL
aspects of life are remembered today.
With Him as the third Person in a marriage connection has proven to me
that the consequences of this have been
life enhancing in every way.
Thank you David for being both encourager ,strong support in life and faith, and an understanding person with aspects of my writing journey which were often fraught with both spiritual and practical needs.
DIVINE LOVE where the WORD and HOLY Righteousness are the ultimate life goal makes connections, contacts and the
consequences of good and bad choices so clear.
I pray that your search helps you to CONNECT ETERNALLY with the only ONE who makes His Word and your life into calm sense.

Yesterday, I saw a natural phenomenon which inspired
my day.
Persistent rain showers had damaged our newly restored entrance road,
and the view was bleak and cold.
Suddenly, the sun came out and for a few beautiful minutes the sight from the back door was a vision of breathtaking loveliness
Every blade of grass, every leaf, plant, tree branch, or object where raindrops lingered was transformed into dancing lights by the shaft of brief but brilliant sunlight.
These lights were all the way to the very highest point on our property.
Joyful drops of HOPE glimmered.
The image above shows only a glimpse.
Imagine thousands and thousands of rain drop lights over a radius of half a kilometre.
Every tree blazed!
Thank God for His amazing world and His Hope that current uneasy weather will soon come to an end. I
I pray we all may find something beautiful to bring HOPE into THIS day.
Maybe a simple smile or the reminder that YOU ARE DIVINELY LOVED by your
Saviour.

The GLORY TRAIN travels on clouds of Grace.
The Saviour Calls ‘be born again’ COME FOLLOW ONLY ME!
If you have the correct ticket you can be confident that this life journey will take you to the correct station when your time is right to disembark.
You may see others getting off sooner than you but if their ticket is the correct one their destination will be the same as yours.
The correct ticket has been paid for in full by the shed blood of the Lamb of God at Calvary. It has been stamped by God the Holy Spirit and He will ensure your readiness for getting off at your correct station.
The devil Satan has and is producing lots of counterfeit tickets, many times being purchased at a high price. ‘I deserve my ticket….I have paid for it.’
Although these may have been laboured for during their time on the GLORY train, they may exit at any of several wrong life ,journey destinations.
Without the correct ticket via the CROSS of Christ and guidance of GOD the HOLY Spirit and a thorough reading of the BIBLE (Hand book for LIFE) they may get off at the wrong platform.
ACCEPTING Jesus and following Him gives all who do, an Abundant Life to journey onwards.

I asked of the LORD this morming that my post would be a simple expression of the beauty and love that in Christ we find in our ongoing lives. I search for images and found so many examples that I will only say HE IS LORD!. Beauty and Love are but outpourings og His Abundant Grace.
Live a beautiful day no matter what age or circumstances. This world with all its beauty is but a glimpse of what is ahead.
